Measuring 12" in height, and 2-1/4" in depth at the section nearest the door's edge, the Von Duprin LGO extended latch guard may be ordered for installations on 3ft, or 4ft doors, left or right swinging.  LGO extended latch guard acts works in conjuction with the RG-27 to preserve the mechanical operation of the lower vertical rod and latch on a Von Duprin surface vertical rod 98/99 series exit device.
