Distribute among employees, members, or visitors to control access.  These glossy proximity badge cards are printable on both sides, and are an excellent choice for restricting admittance via a card factor.  Compared to magstripe cards, proximity cards store larger amounts of data for greater flexibility, and are more durable.  There is no magnetic stripe to lose its magnetism or become dirty, thus prohibiting an individual authorized to have access from being able to enter.  Compatible with our IEI prox card readers, including the ProxPad and ProxPad Plus, and Wiegand controllers.  The ProxPad and ProxPad Plus enable you to combine PIN control and card control, for maximum security.  This way it is not only what the employee knows, but also what they have on them, that will grant them approval at the door.  Each PSM-2PH card is uniquely secured and identified by means of a facility code and bit rate number.  You will enter this information into your software to enroll your users, and establish their access rights.  This data is then communicated to your Prox.Pad Plus, eMerge Essential, eMerge Elite, MiniMax 3, or Max 3 via your PC/network.  When the user presents their unique card, the prox reader will either grant or deny based on the user's access permissions.
