The Alfred DB1 Z-Wave Smart Touchscreen Deadbolt is a sleek and modern Bluetooth lock for your entry doors.

The DB1’s simple digital touchscreen allows for easy PIN code entry without having to fumble around for keys. Each press on the touchscreen is followed by an audible tone to confirm entry, but can be disabled for silent code entry instead. Up to 20 PIN codes can be stored for the lock as well as temporary one-time use and time-sensitive codes for visiting guests, repairmen and vacation renters. Alternatively, a user with the free Alfred Home mobile app installed on their smartphone can use their phone as a digital key. Simply hold the phone to the touchscreen to unlock – no keys or even codes needed! The Alfred Home mobile app also allows the lock owner to view lock access history, so you always know who is accessing your door and when.

The DB1-B and DB1-C are also equipped with powerful Z-Wave Plus technology, allowing home and property owners to integrate the lock into their smart home Z-Wave network*. Manage numerous devices across many different brands from a single location and create custom automated scenes with other paired Z-Wave devices, such as turning on lights or the thermostat when the lock is opened.

Looking to use voice commands to lock your door with Amazon Alexa? Simply pair the Kwikset wireless lock to the VeraPlus controller and then enable the Vera skill inside the Alexa app. Speak “Alexa, lock the front door” to your Amazon Echo or Dot, and Vera will lock the door. Cool part is you can add electronic switches, Z-Wave LED bulbs, remote control outlets and other devices to create groups in Alexa for automating certain routines you manually do every day, like turning the lights off and locking the doors when you go to bed at night.
