There's no easier way to covertly unlock the door from your desk than with this bundled kit. Using equipment from SDC, a leading US based manufacturer of security, access control, and locking systems, this kit contains everything you need, less the wire, to setup your door buzzer system. The concealed desk switch mounts easily to the underside of a desk for remote door control. The switch not only includes a push button for momentarily energizing the electric strike, and unlocking it, it also comes with an on/off toggle switch for sustained bypass. The toggle switch is helpful for keeping the door unlocked during deliveries, or situations where the visitor needs to make return trips to their vehicle, for example a sales rep making a presentation. The person at the door will hear the click sound, indicating to come in. A 24V DC transformer plugs into an outlet, and then connects via wire to the desk switch, and electric strike. The strike provided is the Uni-Flex 45-A model. This is a universal electric strike with 3 different faceplates and mounting tabs to make installation simple, especially when jamb space is limited. It comes with latch position status, and keeper status built in for door status monitoring when integrated into an access control system. Managing your door traffic can now be done rather secretly with the push of a button.
