Simple.  Smart.  Scalable.  Upgrading your traditional key locks or mechanical push-button locks is easier than ever with the E-Plex® 5200 Series.  This lock combines the strength, simplicity, and reliablity of the distinguished Kaba Simplex,® with the enhanced security and convenience of stand-alone electronic access control.  You and your staff can now use secure codes for access.  And since this is auto-locking, you can be assured that doors will always be locked.  This adds another layer of security to protect confidential and/or private information in the spaces behind those doors.  Does this lock require AC/DC current?  Nope.  It's fully battery powered, saving you on the overall costs of implementation and installation.  You can be up and running in less than hour time.  "I've never heard of Kaba, who are they?"  Glad you asked!  Kaba has been around since the 1800's making first-class locking technologies.  They are the largest provider of access control products in the world.

• Heavy Duty - ANSI/BHMA Grade 1, stand-alone access control lock
• Cylindrical latchbolt locking mechanism (latch includes a 1/4" deadlocking plunger bolt to prevent jimmying of door)
• Choose from 6 architectural finishes -  premium finishes may be subject to 2-3 week lead time, including; black with chrome accents (676), bright brass (605), satin brass (606), bright chrome (625) and dark bronze with brass accents (744)
• Supports 3000 users per door; 4-8 digit user access codes (100 million possible code combinations)
• Programming accomplished with E-Plex Enterprise Implementation Kit (sold separately at checkout)
• Time-determined access -  using software you can program up to 16 different access schedules, and up to 32 holiday/vacation time blocks (i.e., door auto-unlocks at 9am, and auto-locks at 6pm, or users in group 1 only have access from 10am to 4pm)
• First manager in feature - lock does not go to passage mode (enter without code) until the first privileged user's credential is presented
• Passage mode can be manually toggled at the lock
• 6 different authority access levels let you determine who has privileges to specific lock functions
